Joy, laughter, anticipation, butterflies, bliss, tension, and relief. Wedding days run high on a multitude of emotions and it's what has kept me hooked year after year. Most of us, at one point or another, have looked back on our own parents or grandparents wedding photos with some sense of adoration and nostalgia. It is with this same sentiment that I strive to document weddings. Your wedding photographs should ripen over time, offering a delayed reaction that grows more meaningful as life carries on and memories fade.

Margo and Kyle married on a rainy June day in Seattle at JM Cellars Winery. I met these two last year and we became fast friends (peep their Sailboat engagement session we did on film last summer!). There really is such a huge difference showing up on a wedding day when you’ve gotten to know each other, and it’s something I always try to foster with my couples because of it.
The ceremony began at Parish Epiphany Church with a timeless and classic ceremony. As the rain began to fall, we made our way over to JM Cellars for the reception.
There’s something so beautiful about Seattle on the brink of summer, still holding onto Spring and the chill air turning into warmth. While the rain moved the festivities inside, we were able to grab some umbrellas and wander around the property just the three of us.
I left this wedding day with a heart so full. Getting to connect with wonderful people and witness so much love and joy is something I never take for granted!
