Joy, laughter, anticipation, butterflies, bliss, tension, and relief. Wedding days run high on a multitude of emotions and it's what has kept me hooked year after year. Most of us, at one point or another, have looked back on our own parents or grandparents wedding photos with some sense of adoration and nostalgia. It is with this same sentiment that I strive to document weddings. Your wedding photographs should ripen over time, offering a delayed reaction that grows more meaningful as life carries on and memories fade.

Seattle Film Wedding Photographer || Shot on both digital and film. Gage also popped out his Large format 4×5 (remember those old old school cameras with the dark cloths over the guys head??) for a few shots that will blow you away.
Kajsa & Arjun have a warmth and kindness to them that made Gage and I feel so welcomed and consequently, made our job incredibly effortless.
The day itself started out in a typical PNW fashion– wet and moody. Held at the Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo, WA, it served as the most stunning backdrop for their day, rain and all. We had chatted a lot with Kajsa and Arjun before the wedding and decided to add in more time before the ceremony to avoid any feelings of being rushed. What resulted was the most easy-going and truly enjoyable 2 1/2 hours running around the grounds creating and capturing pure magic.
It was collaborative in the sense that after a few minutes, we didn’t even have to prompt them, just directing into the good light and letting them unfold as themselves. I think that’s where the magic truly happens anyways, and I hope you can feel that through the images.
Lets dive in!
The End:)
