Elegant St Pete Wedding

Where do I even begin with this dreamy elegant St Pete wedding??

I’ve known Jensyn and Zack from my early years living in St Petersburg, Florida. They have a magnetic energy to them that I instantly knew I wanted to capture one day. When they reached out to me to document their wedding, it was an instant yes and boy was it a stunning day.

In prepping for this wedding, Jensyn shared her grandmother and mothers old wedding photographs, wanting to channel the elegance and grace that the 1940’s had. She wanted mostly black and white images and for the photos to feel timeless, elevated, and artistic. Getting to see wedding photos passed down through generations is one of the most special parts about this job. Creating imagery that ages well while still captures the essence of the era is crucial.

On a perfect January day in Florida, Jensyn and Zack married at the church and then hosted their closest friends and family at Rococo’s for dinner and live music. We started at the Hyatt in downtown St Petersburg where they got ready with family and wedding party. After the ceremony, we meandered around DTSP for portraits riding on the classic St Pete Trolley and stopping at their favorite historical landmarks throughout the city.

Jensyn also spent the last year making her own art to hang on the walls. Every detail throughout this day was brought to life by Jensyn and it was a wedding day for the books.
