Seattle Engagement on film

We all know engagement photos can be hit or miss. Cheesy poses and unrealistic settings can create cringey images that aren’t representative of who you are as a couples at all. For this very reason, I don’t end up taking on a ton of engagement sessions and wait until it feels like the perfect fit.

This, my friends, was a perfect fit.

When Caroline and Tyler inquired, they remarked on how they wanted their photos to feel like them. Silly, sweet, playful, fun, loving, and US. They’re two of the most own to earth and kind humans I’ve had the joy of interacting with and we quickly came up with the perfect idea for their engagement session.

We decided to keep it relaxed and stick to photographing them on a walk around their neighborhood with their precious doggos and then bopped over to Carkeek park afterwards to catch the sunset. Both places they frequent often and have meaning to them as a couple.

The result was imagery that felt realistic and meaningful to them. In Carolines words,

And every time I look at them I swoon which is how I feel every time I look at @hi_my_names_tyler too. We can’t wait to work with her again for our wedding!!”

I feel so honored to get to play a part in documenting these memories for so many incredible people. It really is the coolest job and I can’t wait for Caroline and Tylers wedding next summer!
