Royal Hawaiian Wedding

Mikayla and Ramsey held their wedding at the Royal Hawaiian on a sunny September day of 2024. Set amongst the bustling beaches of Waikiki, the historic pink hotel is hard to miss. It was one of the very first resorts to pop up on the coast in the 1920s and boasts beautiful historic architecture and charm.

Gage, having been born and raised in Hawaii grew up with his grandfathers stories arriving in Hawaii in the 30’s when it was the only hotel standing for miles. We were both beyond excited to finally shoot here and it did not disappoint.

They chose to have their ceremony at the St Augustine by the Sea and reception back at the hotel where all 230 guests would gather.

Ramsey being Samoan, and Mikayla having grown up in Texas, both leaned into their respective cultures in such fun ways. From traditional Samoan dances, classic country line dances, a Catholic Church service, and sprinkling in Hawaiian customs throughout the day, it did not disappoint.
