Christianson’s Nursery Wedding

Veronica & Teddy chose to forego the traditional wedding timeline and focus instead on what really mattered to them: good food, good company, and beautiful design at Christianson’s Nursery.

With no wedding ceremony or any of the traditional aspects of a wedding day like speeches, first dances, or a DJ, they were able to focus on what really mattered to them. Kate & Hannah of Hosted By Events orchestrated the most perfect day starting with a cozy cocktail hour in the greenhouse and an intimate dinner in the old schoolhouse. Christianson’s nursery was truly the perfect spring backdrop with its lush blooms starting to make their first appearance of the season.

Veronica and Teddy didn’t want to spend any unnecessary time on portraits and really wanted the ambiance and feeling of the day to be captured. Without any pre-planned events like speeches, ceremony, or portraits, it really made me have to change my perspective on the day and get creative. With such a small and intimate setting, it can be difficult to blend into the crowd without being a distraction but it ended up working out beautifully:)

In the end, the rain let up just as guests began to arrive and Veronica and Teddy truly had a perfect day. It made me reconsider my own ideas on what makes a wedding and that you don’t need much to have a stunning wedding that feels genuine and authentic to you. Thank you both for inviting me into your sweet day!
