When it all comes down to it... when you're old and reminiscing on the "good ole days" with your equally wrinkled (but still smoking hot) babe by your side, pictures are the only thing you'll have to look back on and share for generations to come. I can think of no better gift than captured moments in time and this is what has really sparked my love for what I do. If you are looking for artistry and adventure, look no further.

Hi, I’m Alyson: the gal behind the lens! Oh, and I’m also the lucky one who gets to capture your love story! At a young age, I initially fell in love with photography as an art form for self-expression, and over the years my love for photography has morphed into the ultimate storytelling tool.

Niki and Ulysses met while teaching English in Cambodia and immediately fell for each other. So much so that they decided to get married while in New Zealand. It was an intimate ceremony and, being that Niki is from the US and Ulysses from France, neither of their families could make it over. Instead, they decided to wait to celebrate their marriage until both families could come together. Which brings us to this post.
Every wedding I shoot is incredible special and meaningful but this was the first I had shot with such palpable love and support. It could be felt in how simply and smooth the day went. No timeline, no agenda, just a simple celebration of love in its purest form.
Instead of a traditional honeymoon, Niki and Ulysses had spent the past 5 months converting a bus into their new home and took off shortly after the wedding on a nation-wide road trip, stopping in all the national parks.
