Joy, laughter, anticipation, butterflies, bliss, tension, and relief. Wedding days run high on a multitude of emotions and it's what has kept me hooked year after year. Most of us, at one point or another, have looked back on our own parents or grandparents wedding photos with some sense of adoration and nostalgia. It is with this same sentiment that I strive to document weddings. Your wedding photographs should ripen over time, offering a delayed reaction that grows more meaningful as life carries on and memories fade.

Sida and Yoki’s Downtown Seattle Courthouse Elopement
A few months back I met Sida when he reached out looking for someone to capture his proposal. We met up, set up lights, I hid behind some trees, and captured the moment amongst a classic seattle backdrop.
They decided to have an intimate elopement in downtown Seattle a few weeks after and it was an absolute joy to document. Simple yet refined, it was a day that was truly them. We first met at the courthouse in downtown Seattle where they had their ceremony with the judge and their 3 closest friends. The courthouse itself is really quite lovely and made a gorgeous backdrop for photos.
After, we traversed around downtown Seattle for portraits. Fueled from the excitement of their recent nuptials, we had so much fun searching for light and old architecture throughout the city. There’s something so fun about taking wedding photos in cities. Every corner there’s someone yelling congratulations and pouring out compliments of how beautiful you look and making the process just so fun. Yoki and Sida looked like absolute movie-stars and were turning heads every street.
